We caught the train to Mandurah to have lunch with a group of women who had lived in the Pilbera some years previously, at Han's Restaurant overlooking the harbour. The train trip was excellent, the food wonderful and the whole day most enjoyable.
The following day we did some research in Karrakatta Cemetery, and the War Cemetery of Perth. The latter is such a beautiful place.
The next day I kept busy around the Midland Gate Shopping Centre, and trying to source some things that I had wanted to purchase - though not all successful. On the Tuesday night we went to dinner at Embers Restaurant at Gooseberry Hill (just love the name!) and had a fantastic meal to celebrate B's birthday.
Oh, so busy. Back to Dongara for a rest.
