The tiny town of Cowaramup is on the Bussell Highway, and I passed through on several occasions. What I found fascinating was the way the locals had made the most of the name of the town, and despite the fact that dairying is not as popular as it once was (some info suggests that there is one remaining dairy farm), there are cows everywhere. They are in parks, in the shopping strip, and other places in town. Such clever marketing really.
I passed through Cowaramup one day when travelling with my cousin and her husband, but had to wait until I left Augusta to be able to stop and take the photos.
