Pentridge

Carol and I visited her sister - and she had parked her car in the shadows of Pentridge Gaol, which was great, otherwise I would not have been able to see this famous place up close.

It certainly is an imposing building which seems to scream about the dark life it has experienced as the home to so many of Australian's really bad criminals including the infamous Ned Kelly.

The Gaol has long been closed and prisoners now housed in a more modern place, but now, behind these walls there are modern homes being built.  Now would you like to live within the walls of this place?

Not far from this place is another huge development on the grounds of the now closed Kodak company.  There is much development in the area.
