I'm often asked how I came to Blogging, and for those readers who do not know, I started my first blog when I went to Ireland in 2005, and I kept a travel blog on Typepad.com. It was a site that one paid a monthly fee for, and I subsequently found a more interesting site Blogger which was also FREE, and started a number of other blogs here, and at other places.
People are interested in my house sitting too - so I can combine two of my great interests in the one site. Then people want to know how to create a blog, and then they hear that you can blog for money.
Wow, that's a whole new topic that I won't venture deeply into here, but there are several ways. One is to have advertisements from Google on your blog - which I do, and another is advertising on blogs, using a service such as Smorty. (I love the cute names that folk create too!)
Smorty is a great service connecting advertisers with bloggers. Advertisers will pay bloggers to write opinion posts with links back to the advertisers site. You need to work on your blog for a while - Smorty needs to know that you understand blogging, and have a commitment to regular posts. So you CAN get paid for blogging
Blogging and writing for Smorty is a great way to get paid to blog, and for folk who are prolific writers, it is a fabulous way to earn extra income. If you are an advertiser, Smorty is a great place to advertise, and if you are a Blogger interested in blogging for money - make your way quickly to Smorty. It is easy to use, and they pay through PayPal.

looking to buy-do u know of anyone who might have a plot? When u say it
is cold in the winter what is the temperature(day & night)-my email
