This festival has been held on the foreshore between Wynnum and Manly on Father's Day for years. Some of our group have not missed a festival since 2000, but we think it was going before that.
There is a bandstand there (they call it Bandstand Park) and people turn up with their marquees, chairs, rugs, tables, dogs, and food - and an array of food stalls turn up and from 11 am the Jazz is on.
The weather was perfect - though sometimes a cool breeze came from the bay, but the sun shone all day, and the music, company and everything was wonderful.
